My design philosophy for social change – to extend social interaction and experience in relation to User Experience – Interaction Design – is inspired by Victor Papanek’s thoughtful ideas. He clearly shows that what is the responsibility and roles of designers to do design when they design something valuable for the real world.
“Design, if it is to be ecologically responsible and socially responsive, must be revolutionary and radical.”
“The only important thing about design is how it relates to people.”
“Design must be an innovative, highly creative, cross-disciplinary tool responsive to the needs of men. It must be more research-oriented, and we must stop defiling the earth itself with poorly-designed objects and structures.”
These above-mentioned aims are also my user experience – interaction design philosophy.
